Introducing
Vasiliki Design
Brand Story
Vasiliki Design is a London-based brand specialized in silk-printed scarves. Our brand draws inspiration from Ancient Greece and Greek mythology, integrating a more contemporary aesthetic and transforming silk into canvases where stories are narrated, experiences and feelings unfold, and motifs, colors, and dreams are playfully combined.
Drawing inspiration from ancient Greek symbols, scenery, and both mythical and real worlds, Vasiliki's scarves reinterpret these images, adapting to the present and inviting everyone to engage, explore, and immerse themselves in the new realms of patterns that Vasiliki envisions.
About Vasiliki
Born and raised in Greece, Vasiliki Tzoumerkioti, the founder and designer of the brand, draws inspiration from the mesmerizing landscapes of her youth — salt hills of Messolonghi and the liberating Cycladic sun. Infused with a playful twist, her designs continually evolve through the lens of her ongoing exploration of life in London.
Vasiliki's love for prints and colors blossomed during her time on Syros Island, nestled in the heart of the Aegean. Her designs result from a lot of research, combining with an endless exploration of concepts, designs, illustrations, prints and colour combinations that led her to use silk as a canvas on this creative journey. This approach not only derives from Vasiliki’s studies in fashion and prints at Kingston University London and Central Saint Martins, but also from her in-depth concept development and creative process while working for London based luxury brands.
